Happy Birthday Uloop!

That’s right! For a solid year now Uloop has been making it easier for students to buy and sell textbooks, find roommates, housing, and even jobs!

In the last year we’ve seen a lot of action on the site. Here are a few highlights:

• 10,299 textbooks listed – averaging 64% off of retail prices* with an estimated total savings of over $650,000!
• 6284 events promoted
• 5056 roommates & housing posts
• 2146 job opportunities
• And 57 pets have found a new home!

And we’re still just getting started… We believe we can double those numbers in the first quarter of this year! Want to help? Post your textbooks or look for housing.

Only a year ago we were just a wee little site at UC Santa Barbara, but now we’ve grown to 50 schools nationwide. And we’re not stopping there! As always we have a few tricks up our sleeves for the new year, so stay tuned for a host of new updates and feature requests coming to life over the next few weeks.
